After weeks of being marooned here, I'm free to transmit information through the internet. Since the 11th or 12th of this month, my poor 5+ year old computer, Galileo, got infected. Battling a virus is not fun. And it's HELL without a mouse!!!! The first mouse gave up on me and the second one was the one I used for my laptop -- Vector Sigma -- needed me to secure the connection cord to it with fucking scotch tape!!! That lasted a few days until it gave up. New mouse? I'm broke. Then I used the keyboard to navigate. That's trippy.
By the way, no mouse = no artwork.
Anyhow, I had to find that sucker, it was hiding somewhere like filthy rat. Then I was notified that there was not enough space in the C drive. Ah...the plot thickens!!! Then I scanned everything installed or modified since that past month. I'd have looked in the C drive manually but that would take forever since I sometimes won't be able to tell what shouldn't be there. Anyhow, I found the filthy rat and got rid of it. It gave me all these images and documents along with disrupting internet communication. I'm sure there was more, though. I was able to respond to a message -- I think on DA -- a while ago when the virus was there. I don't know how but I wasn't able to do that again after. Whatever, then came all the termination process. I think it's gone and old Galileo is recovering. Poor thing is too old for this. You know what's next? VENGEANCE!!!! Okay, I'm not going to send somebody a virus but I am going to track where that son of a bitch came from!
What a stressful ordeal. And now I have a new mouse.
