Thieves and Raiders

From a novel I plan to write titled "Sagebrush"

The awesome pirate Captain Ringtail (Oslo Zorro Ringtail) of the Opal is back. This time he's with two of his crew, Deleigh the hedgehog and Sagebrush the squirrelmaid, the two youngest crewbeasts. Sagebrush isn't supposed to be the pretty one but she doesn't care. She even paints herself with black warpaint to make herself appear intimidating.

Anyhow, I sketched this to go along with the song I made up. Here goes:

We’re thieves and raiders of the sea
The world is cruel and so are we.
We do what we pleases,
Spread fever diseases,
We’re thieving raiders, born wild and free!

No one knows just where we’re bound
Cause we’re stuck goin’ round and round
Since the rudder went all a-smash
So more than likely we’re bound to crash.
Wipe that smile off your mug
Afore I beats you like a rug.
Know that water’s rising below
And if we’re to sink you’re the first to go.

We do what we pleases,
Spread fever diseases,

Avast ye there ye filthy scrub
And help patch up this leaking tub.
The greedy cook ate all the tuck
So supper’s boots and seaweed muck.
I see a ship so on with the chase
If we lose this, I’ll fish slap yer face.
If the sail tears I’ll take you aside,
And patch it with yer smelly hide.
