Lady Amber Concept Art by 1-Renaissance Lady Amber Concept Art by 1-Renaissance
Alright, here's concept art for Lady Amber.

There's gotta be something wrong here. If not, then great. But I'd really appreciate comments and critique with this since it's concept art. Be mean if you have to.

Yeah I know Lady Amber's a queen/chieftain but I thought it would be appropriate that she'd wear something simple that would allow her to move around the trees swiftly and as well blended as possible.

So...go ahead. :D:D:D

i always imagined her as wearing all of this amber jewelry, like necklaces and bracelets and etc. She looks great

there is nothing like a female Squirrel warrior and a squirrel queen at that

Very good concept! :D If you're worried about telling her apart from other squirrels, maybe you could give her some sort of jewelry. Like a necklace maybe. Her tail could be bushier, but other than that I think she looks fine! :)

WOW, just... wow.

Awesome job, mate! Excellent, I love it! :D I knew I'd left Amber in capable paws! Er, hands or whatever. ;) :XD: :giggle:

Her bow and quiver are perfect, so don't change them. :D

And Eshva already explained about her ear, so I won't say anything on that. :)

I suppose I would suggest making her neck just a little bit shorter, and her tail a bit more bushier.

As for her tunic, everyone has pretty much said what needs to be said on that, but I have suggestions on what colors you could use: instead of brown, maybe you could have green with brown trim? Or brown with green trim?

I'm not so sure if Amber would wear a coronet, she doesn't seem like the type to wear that, plus gold or yellow trim might make it hard for camoflouge - except you might be able to make the yellow work, I think you could pull off yellow. :)

Also, her left leg is perfect, but her right leg looks a bit weird, so try to copy the left one, 'kay? :)

So yeah, that's the critique, and I think I'm done here!

Alrighty then, wonderful work matey, I am so glad you're the one designing Amber! :D

Have fun with the character sheet and God bless! :D

Alright. Maybe something like a soft yellow trim. Instead of a coronet, do you think a tailring would do?

Thank you for the critique and compliments, mate! :D:D:D

Your welcome! :D :D :D

Hm, yes, I suppose a tailring would do... and how about an armlet, y'know just some brown strap or something that goes on her upper arm? For some reason that's what came to mind when I thought of stuff... but hey, only if you want. :)

And yeah, a soft yellow trim sounds lovely. :D

Heh, she looks pretty cool here! :D
To be sure, I've never seen a decent illustration of Lady Amber (nothing but the Gary Chalk image, and I always found his style too kiddie-orientated), but she's one female character I respected for her brilliant leadership.
Love how she looks here - nice longbow, too!
