I really liked this particular scene from the book because it was a sweet moment shared by Leatho Shellhound and Tiria Wildlough. In my opinion, that would have been a great pairing.
I titled this "Goodbye" because in the scene, Leatho and Tiria honor her friend Brinty who was killed but died a warrior.

I tried to make Tiria and Leatho resemble my first sketch of them as best as I can. So maybe that went okay?
Furthermore, I decided to make the coniferous trees a bit differently and tried to make them more defined than the shaggy mops I was used to.
Maybe I can do the same and improve my deciduous trees.

Now down to the legal business...
I own nothing here but the imagination and work that went into this. Scene, otters, book, everything else.....belongs to Brian Jacques.

I freakin' love it!! Leatho and Tiria are my favorite Redwall book series couple (at least I think they became a couple), and I kept reading the part at the lake over and over because Redwall isn't known to be very romantic, but when it is, it's perfect!! And um, Tiria was wearing a short dark-green cloak wasn't she? Besides that, THIS IS PICTURE PERFECT!!
