Emperor Ublaz Mad Eyes

Ublaz Mad Eyes, Emperor of Sampetra! I don't have the book Pearls of Lutra so I did my research online to find out what he probably should have looked like.

He was described as "strong, sleek, and handsome and had black, almond-shaped eyes and curled, perfumed whiskers. He had fine brown fur, a bushy tail, and a creamy yellow throat and ears"...so this came out. And I'm proud of it!

I was also excited to put my knowledge of ships to the test. I've been wanting to add ships in my stories and art but the problem was that I didn't know much about them.

So I went to the library and borrowed the only book describing ships like these. Unfortunately it was oversize but I took it anyway.

Now for Ublaz! As mentioned he's the emperor of Sampetra and he commands fleets of pirates and corsairs. They do their searaiding and give him a percentage. So in other words the guy is filthy rich.

But he doesn't have the six Pearls of Lutra. Captain Conva failed to retrieve the pearls so Ublaz killed him. Then Ublaz sends his head monitor lizard Lask Frildur to retrieve them. To escort him to Redwall Ublaz also sends the new captain of the Waveworm, Captain Romsca (the most awesome corsair), the late Captain Conva's first mate.

Cutting to the end, Ublaz dies without ever seeing those six pearls.

Oh, I probably should have added this earlier: Ublaz is a pine marten.
